Much Ado About Sebastopol is a fundraiser for the Sebastopol Educational Foundation (SEF), in partnership with the Guild of St. George, Northern Chapter. Our goal is to create a quality, family-friendly event in Sebastopol that is entertaining and educational, as well as a long-term fundraiser for the Sebastopol Union School District.
SEF is a non-profit whose purpose is to secure and distribute funds for the benefit of students in the Sebastopol Union School District. Funds are used by classroom teachers for supplies and field trips, as well as by enrichment programs including music, art, library, science & technology, sports and counseling. In these troubled times it has never been more critical to raise money for important student enrichment programs.
The Guild of St. George, Inc. is a not-for-profit educational corporation. The Guild is the premier Elizabethan nobility organization in the country and is dedicated to theatrical excellence without compromising historical accuracy in order to fulfill its mission of teaching history through interactive theater.
Fundraising revenue is generated by event sponsorship, ticket sales, game tickets, refreshments, The Pip and Vine Tavern, and silent auction, will go directly to benefit the Sebastopol Union School District. So enjoy, play, bid on wonderful deals at the silent auction, and eat to ye olde heart's content.
Fun Fact: "Much Ado About Sebastopol" found its inspiration in a local mini Renaissance Faire for 7th graders that reinforced California curriculum standards for 7th grade history/social studies.
